Accounting Coordinator

Responsible for accounting for Axdev Group (Canada), Axdev Europe (Germany) and Axdev Global (US). Prepare and analyze budgets and other financial reports, manage supplier accounts, client accounts and payroll. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting regulations and standards. Responsible for purchasing. Prepare month-end financial reports and documents for the companies’ accountants.

Criteria for recruitment and selection

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in accounting, including international accounting, inter-company accounting and currencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Knowledge of SAGE 50 (Simply Accounting) software
  • Knowledge of the MS Office Suite, strong Excel skills
  • Excellent spoken and written French and English
  • Able to carry out accrual accounting
  • Experience developing and monitoring budgets and financial statements
  • Experience in fast-paced work environments
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proactive when working with management
  • Ability to draft work procedures
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • CMA or CGA would be an asset
