Fellowship In Continuing Health Education

AXDEV initiated a national master's/doctoral level award for students who are conducting innovative research in health education. We partnered with the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the Canadian Institute of Health Research for this prestigious award. The first two awards totalling $66,000 were given in 2006 for a three-year period to two students who are conducting unique healthcare education projects in Quebec and Saskatchewan.

Youth Programs International Development Project

Under the leadership of Ms. Murray, AXDEV supported the building of a school and shelters in Nicaragua in conjunction with “Terre sans frontières” and the scouts of Brossard. The AXDEV team participated in this plan by calling firms and business people to back this initiative, thereby contributing to community development and advancing a humanitarian initiative.

Benado

This organization supports and trains at-risk youth. AXDEV extended financial support but went beyond this by enhancing the development of a pedagogic program.

Student internships

AXDEV has welcomed master's or doctoral level students from Canada, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and other countries to intern in our offices and enrich their knowledge and experience of the professional world. It is a mutually beneficial exchange, as AXDEV has benefited from the students' knowledge, their culture and vision to develop our capacities and our own understanding of the business environment.

Miscellaneous

AXDEV provides donations to numerous non-profit associations, including cancer research for over five years to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Quebec Lung Association, the Charles LeMoyne hospital foundation, and the Parkinson's Foundation.
