Our approach in action
|
Client: A major government health organization overseeing interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals. Challenge/Problem: Following the implementation of a new healthcare team strategy, this health organization sought a comprehensive view of the functioning of the interdisciplinary healthcare teams and barriers to implementation of the new strategy. Solution: AXDEV collaborated on the design and implementation of a rigorous qualitative research program to evaluate the healthcare teams’ functioning strategy. The study revealed comprehensive and detailed insights as to team member issues and challenges related to their: (a) knowledge and attitudes towards working in an interdisciplinary team; (b) knowledge and understanding of the new team functioning strategy; (c) roles and responsibilities; and (d) actual functioning. This research enabled the development of targeted recommendations for each interdisciplinary team. Furthermore, this study demonstrated the value of private/public collaborations.
Client: Multinational pharmaceutical organization Challenge: Assess the impact of a comprehensive organizational change that has been implemented across the worldwide sales force and determine the nature of any gaps or issues to ensure successful adoption of the new corporate strategy. Solution: AXDEV applied its in-depth knowledge of organizational change management and program evaluation in order to highlight successes and challenges in the client’s change strategy. This enabled our client to design and implement targeted interventions to remedy prioritized gaps and, ultimately, pre-emptively address issues in subsequent program implementation initiatives. Following this successful project, AXDEV’s mandate was extended and broadened. Our evaluation methodology is now being used in other satellite branches of the multinational around the globe. |
