Combining interdisciplinary backgrounds - including research, psychology, organizational development, education, and management - with extensive experience, the AXDEV executive team members are thought leaders in the field of professional and organizational performance improvement. Suzanne Murray Suzanne Murray's professional career spans over 23 years in organizational development, management, healthcare research, education, and performance improvement. As the President and Founder of AXDEV Group International since 1997, she has responded to mandates in Canada, United States and Europe. Prior to AXDEV, she spent 18 years in senior health and research management at the McGill University's Centre for Research in Aging and the Montreal General Hospital. Her academic achievements are primarily in Management, Organizational and Professional development from both McGill University and Concordia University. Ms. Murray's leadership and provocative thinking approach, guides and supports decision makers in major organizations in health care, and other industries, in assessing and considering strategies and operational needs for professional and organizational performance excellence. She has published and presented in international peer reviewed conferences and journals specialized in health and medical education as well as performance development. Ms. Murray and AXDEV have received numerous business awards, the prestigious Mercury Award for Best Service Business in Quebec from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the 2007 Business Women of the Year for International contributions from the Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec (the Quebec Business Women's Network) as well as other performance research awards and health strategy awards. She also sits on many Boards (i.e. Canadian Association of Continuing Health Education (CACHE), a member of the International Strategies Committee for the Alliance for CME (United States), appointed by the Minister of Education as a Board member of a Quebec based College, Co-chair of the Economic Committee for Congress 2008 (CME International Congress). Sean Hayes, PsyD, MA Mr. Hayes trained and practiced as a clinical psychologist in the United States specializing in stress and trauma. He has worked in Canada and the United States in hospitals, outpatient units, and forensic settings. In addition to Mr. Hayes' extensive experience in healthcare, he has also consulted for Fortune 500 companies including major pharmaceuticals, universities, medical associations, and in environmental research for IBM and Mr. Hayes brings to the AXDEV team his considerable evaluation, consultative, and performance enhancement experience in the areas of healthcare research design and strategy. He effectively applies his experience to business development, consumer and patient understanding research, and strategic planning. He has designed and measured professional performance enhancement programs for senior management, health professionals, and sales teams. Mr. Hayes is an accomplished speaker, educator and author. He has facilitated at national and international conferences in multiple topics of interest including change readiness, adult learning, and multiple models of behavioural research. Mr. Hayes has published and presented at the Canadian Association of Continuing Health Education (CACHE), the Congress on Continuing Medical Education, Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, and other national and international conferences. Lorna J. Cochrane, RPN, BA, M.Ed., Ph.D Ms. Cochrane brings to AXDEV Global extensive multidisciplinary education and experience. Ms. Cochrane's impressive career extends over several levels of education, health, and corporate environment, from the front line to policy development and research. She has contributed to health care at the bedside, in university classrooms, in research forums, and in the context of developing government and business standards. Ms. Cochrane has assessed needs and developed programs in health and corporate environments and a vast array of disciplines and therapeutic areas. more... Ms. Cochrane has formal degrees in nursing, psychology, and educational and cognitive psychology. She supplemented this education with certified courses in counselling, management and health administration. Her master's degree in Educational Psychology from McGill University, concentrated on studies of instructional and cognitive psychology and adult education. Ms. Cochrane's doctoral program focused on educational and program evaluation, learning and cognition, instructional design, and higher and continuing health education.
