AXDEV GLOBAL INC. is pleased to introduce and welcome Lawrence Sherman FACEHP, FRSM, CHCP, who’s company Meducate Global, LLC, an organization involved in the assessment of global healthcare education systems worldwide, faculty development for educators of healthcare professionals, and support of continuing professional development in healthcare worldwide, has merged with AXDEV Global. Lawrence and Meducate Global, LLC collaborates with many health professions education organizations around the world.
Lawrence has been involved in medical and interprofessional education, with a concentration in continuing education, for over 28 years, and has authored numerous scholarly publications and delivered hundreds of presentations worldwide on topics related to medical education. He is a Fellow of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK).
He has moderated hundreds of workshops, advisory and editorial board meetings, consensus panels, and curriculum development meetings. He provides communications and presentation skills workshops and faculty development sessions. He has also hosted an internet radio show focusing on key topics in medical education that was broadcast on the ReachMD Platform.
Lawrence is the Social Media Editor for the Journal for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (JCEHP), and is a reviewer for the following journals: Journal of European CME (JECME); Medical Teacher and The Asia Pacific Scholar (TAPS)
Lawrence has also been an Educator in Emergency Medicine for the Emergency Medical Institute and Center for Learning and Innovation of the Northwell Health System in Long Island, New York, and has lectured in the Healthcare Communications program at the Center for Communication Science at Stony Brook University, also in New York.
